We recognize the importance of vacation time in providing the opportunity for rest, and personal activities. Employees begin with 10 days (two weeks) of vacation their first year and earn 15 days after five years, 20 days after 15 years, and 25 days after 25 years. They can carry up to one week’s vacation over to the next year. Total number of hours per day is determined by average hours for the employee. Full-Time employees also receive personal days equivalent to their standard hours. The number of personal days varies each year based on the federal holiday schedule. To encourage employees to plan for their retirement, NMTW offers a 401(k) plan which permits employees to defer taxes on a portion of their annual income which is deposited into the plan, using a variety of plan funds and investment options.NMTW contributes up to 15% of an employee's salary for those that qualify. Employees are paid weekly and have online access to time sheets, pay statements, check calculations, payroll and tax information, and W2 forms. Employees are eligible for annual pay increases based on their job performance. We provide both short-term and long-term disability insurance. Leaves include maternity, bereavement, personal leave, and military leave.
