Get your first credit card at your credit union with a $500 limit. No co-signer is required as long as you have some source of income. We believe this offers you a chance to make independent choices but with a relatively low limit, you can’t charge more than you can afford to pay! Plus, the program comes with a tutorial that advises about responsible money management and the value of saving for future expenses like a car or college.
